Anyone with TSB for banking? I see the Android app gets awful reviews. Anyone think it's ok? I want to go with TSB as there is one local to me, opens until 5 and is £5 a month after 18 months free banking.

    Thanks,
    Beav

I've been with them for years and generally very good.

The only thing that frustrates sometimes is that they are over keen to block cards when they suspect suspicous transactions (I buy a lot from US) - that's happened about 4 times and you have to be onto the call centre for 40 mins to clear it.

Ah just like they used to be 23 years ago.

Every time I ordered from amazon.com they stopped my card.

I use TSB for personal banking so I can only speak for that. It was fine, until they "upgraded" and moved away from the system they shared with Lloyds. Since then, it's been dire. The ability to search through statements is especially bad.

I use Barclays for four businesses, never had an issue. Great app, great online platform.

The android app sometimes becomes unavailable and I have it as a bank account on QuickBooks where it becomes unavailable frequently.
I use Halifax as my personal account and it has very little down time compared to TSB.
Had my card stopped twice when I was using it at the Post Office where I go every day so not exactly out of the ordinary transactions
