Hi. So...I really want to get into business and I am looking to start my first company. Now my problem is that I dont really know what should I go for. I dont have much money to start with.

I got a really nice idea to produce and sell specific iphone cases of middle class (about $50-$100). I have a nice design idea, I know this require more money but I would post a project on kickstarter to get some help.

Looking to hear some suggestions and ideas :)

Thanks.

Hey ctnt100,

If you're aiming to launch your business with a Kickstarter you'll get the best results if your product is something that is unique, looks interesting and stands out from what's already available. If that's something you've got a passion for that you can demonstrate in the pitch video then go for it, just be careful and precise when deciding how much you want to set your target funding goal for.

Good luck with your startup! :)

Hi, thanks for a reply.

I would most likely be looking at kickstarter since I dont have much money saved to start a business.

But I dont know which field should I go in. I really like the iphone case idea, I would make an awesome one, but then again there are thousands iphone cases out there, I would really like to hear some suggestions.

Maybe the first step for you is to become iPhone case/accessories dealer.

Step by step you will get clients. Make some money. See how it goes, clear your strategy, know your clients better. And when you feel you are ready, design your iPhone case and offer it to them.

It will take you some time of course. But don't worry you will see for yourself how interesting the things will be.

Well thanks, that is a great suggestion.

I just have 1 question about this. I live in Slovenia (2mil total population), which is very small country, and then you have to count that not everyone from those 2mil have iPhone. Now I dont know how profitable that would be, people here are not ready to spend more money on sutuff.

When designing a case I was thinking of a nice leather and a price tag about $100. Now that would be a nice price to sell worldwide, but here I dont think many would buy it.

What do you think?

Unfortunately I don't use iPhone myself. And I am not familiar with the needs of the people on this. I've seen some people with nice iPhone cases, tough.

Try to design a "theme" case maybe. Something that will fit a group of people.

Here are some ideas that come to me while I type:

design a case with a binocular glass for the camera, it will zoom in everything

Hey, yes I know some people here who buy pretty expensive cases, but thats just few...

I was kinda looking to design an awesome luxury case of leather and such materials. I know people spend $1k on a case, but thats because its gucci or prada, you know..

Would really like to start as you suggested, but a market is really small here.
