triangular link exchange tips

Does anyone have any tips on how to keep on top of a triangular link exchange programme. Reciprocals are easy, just use software to check for returning links, but how do you keep on top of triangular links?

I have my own system for this, but it is a it tedious and time consuming. I am not aware of any way to automate it though.

Any thoughts?

any system can be automated, can't it? Why can't your existing system be automated? If it can be broken down into logical steos then a program can be written to deal with it.
