I'm a very experienced software developer and I'm pretty terrible at sales & marketing. I'm sure there are many people here who are in the opposite situation so why don't we help each other out?

I can help with building websites, tweaking your ecommerce setup, custom building some functionality and so on all the way to suggestions on setting up your business related software and how to vet and hire software developers.

You can help with direct sales, cold contact, drip campaigns and content marketing, getting the most out of PPC, creating converting landing pages and generally increasing conversion rates and sales.

Anyone interested in a mutually beneficial arrangement like this?

Hello Peacemaker,

Can I ask you: do you create actual products? In other words, are you able to create a software app or some other service that does something and which can be sold in its own right as a product via a website?

I used to sell a SaaS product and could definitely market one. The key is clarity of explanation plus benefits-focused copy on the website.

Cheers,

Gary

Hey Gary,

Yes, I can create products. I created all the products for multiple software businesses ranging from websites to SaaS products to video games to WordPress plugins. And much more :)

When I have been successful with selling these products I feel it's been more through luck/timing than any real marketing skill which is why I suggested a trade.

Do you have something in mind? Feel free to PM me if you'd prefer.

USA LLC owner on a UK forum isn't that uncommon, I guess - just signals me to ask for a bit of a backgrounder on you. Tell us a bit about yourself, if you don't mind? I'm sure others would be interested in hearing your story - especially if they're considering some form of JV or labour swap.

Note: I'm not being deliberately critical. I'm genuinely interested, hence my questions. The fact I'm an American in Britain may have something to do with my take on things :p
