Surprised that there is no thread about this.

It's not a topic that affects me per se, but I wonder whether the fellow UKBF members who do trade with the US are affected, and what they think?

Not sure there are many small UK goods businesses that trade in the US. The insurance cost alone put us off completely and, if you're trading over there a lot, with physical products, I think you have to have a US based office anyway?

So far, there's not been any mention of tariffs on things like US based software subscriptions - Adobe etc?

It helps my little business. One of my customers sells to the US and they use us to make videos to help them sell more.

They didn't know if the tariffs would be going up, down, sideways etc... They're also military so at the time, the US didn't want to buy anything military outside the US.

So the deal means they can continue selling and we can continue supplying them with videos to help them sell to the US military. It's definitely helped us, albeit in a roundabout way.
