Tracking Site Rank

Hey guys, sorry for the probably n00b question!

Whats the easiest way to track a given site for specific keywords in Google, Yahoo and Bing?

I used to use a site called easy rank track but they stopped providing the service.

I don't need all the bells and whistles, just a simple chart that shows me on a daily basis where a site is positioned in the serps.

Thanks in advance,
Steve

Rank Tracker is probably the best....but not cheap. There is however a free edition, but I'm not certain what the restrictions are with the free edition.

Heres the kind of graph it produces :p

Advanced Web Ranking is miles ahead of anything else in the ranking tracking game, imo.

At $100 for the basic version (which will do everything you need for tracking your own sites) its an absolute bargain.

I run daily reports on hundreds of keywords, and a big report every few weeks on thousands of keywords and the insights into niches it gives you is amazing. If some outlying site is starting to rise up in the rankings you will instantly be aware of it. Likewise if someone gets whacked, you'll know straight away.

Being able to go back in time and see who ranked where for every phrase you're tracking is invaluable.

If you want to give it a go there's an option for 30 days free. I downloaded it last night as you've mentioned it in the past. Gonna have a play tonight.

You can also get a free permanent license if you have an internet marketing / pr / seo blog or something that you can write a review on. Though for $99, I'd rather just pay than spend a couple of hours writing a proper blog post :)

Have used both Market Samurai and Advanced Web ranking, and both do a decent job, although would probably err on the side of Advanced web ranking.

You can get Market Samurai fro $99 i believe, if you download the trial versions and order within 7 days.

Rank Tracker and Market Samurai are good products but you need to buy them. The free version of RT does not record/save projects -that's a huge disadvantage if you want to monitor ranks.

There are two free software which I personally use:

    1 - Rankerizer
    2 - SERP Attacks

Just type those names on Google and you'll be able to download them for free. :)

    Hope this helps!

    Cheers!
