Hi All,
Just wondered if anyone else had heard of the above?

I've recently signed-up and am quite impressed so far. Simple, fast, and easy to use. Plus no monthly costs with just 20p per transaction fee (I think it is!).

I've also got it integrated with our Xero accounts software.

Be good to hear if anyone has had any other good/bad experiences with them.

Cheers

Yes it was easy to sign up and get going, that was good. Just a couple of issues: 1. when I first transferred money into it it seemed to take days to update and 2. there was a whole weekend outage where you couldn't use it. Xero integration is nice, although Xero integrates with lots of other banks too.

I've found Tide really easy and simple too. I don't have many transactions, just two or three a month, so it works well.

Only problem I've had was the client that paid me a cheque (despite my specific request that any cheques be made out to me personally so I could deposit into my personal account and BACS the money).

I would pay the cheque into my personal account through a machine (ie not via a person in a branch) and wait and see. Banks rarely look at the account name or consider matching the payee and account holder.
