The pink pound?

As a single mum I worry about getting tradesmen in. This will sound stupid to some people, indeed it sounds stupid to me. I'm ex Army, I run two businesses and like to think of myself as a fairly strong character but for some reason being shut in the house with a man that I've never met before is a worrying prospect.

I agree, I am 6', have 4 bro's so know how to look after myself ;) and yet I still got in an awkward situation with a Sky repair man, he was about 6'4 and proceeded to tell me how he had returned home early the night before and found his wife and their labrador in a compromising position and now he was looking for a good lawyer :eek:

To say I was uncomfortable is an understatement andI phoned Sky and told them I never wanted him in my house again, just one example of how women will talk about both good and bad tradesmen to their friends.

after doing the last 2 hours on research mode, the pink pound is a market that's worth tapping into from my point the market does not appear to be hugely over saturated so it looks well worth the effort

Dont want to be too negative Dave, but if the first 30 seconds of research was spent looking at the date of the last post you would have seen it was 2009... saving you the two hours. :)

Just to keep me updated with current vernacular, which Troll am I?

troll 1 1.angling a. to draw (a baited line, etc) through the water, often from a boat b. to fish (a stretch of water) by trolling c. to fish (for) by trolling 2. to roll or cause to roll 3. archaic to sing (a refrain, chorus, etc) or (of a refrain, etc) to be sung in a loud hearty voice 4. informal ( Brit ) ( intr ) to walk or stroll 5. homosexual slang ( intr ) to stroll around looking for sexual partners; cruise 6. slang ( intr ) computing to post deliberately inflammatory articles on an internet discussion board — n 7. the act or an instance of trolling 8. angling a bait or lure used in trolling, such as a spinner 9. slang computing a person who submits deliberately inflammatory articles to an internet discussion

As for the *********, can't read that. so it's no help.

As it happens, my comment was meant to be humourous and intened to let you know you had managed to trawl up an old post, clearly I didn't know if you knew that.

But, "Me Bad" (is that the current term? I am getting on a bit!), I will try to remember to treat you with a similar level of contempt in the future. :(

humor and the internet dont do very well sadly i will take back what i said as i thought it was aimed in a sarcastic manner. i was aware it was an old thread but it had some relevance to what i was working on at the time and i know its bad etiquette to go digging up old threads so lets let it die and slip back into the depths of the internet shall we
