Now you're just being silly.

Promote something by all means but have the courtesy to treat people with a little respect.

Anyone who knows anything about marketing/advertising knows, without a shadow of doubt, that nobody would receive 'quite a few calls' from a directory like this. And anyone who knows anything about anything would have seen the association I pointed out at the outset. Crass, isn't in it.

And now you're just digging yourself deeper. If you or anyone has paid £295 to appear in this 'directory' then I'm a Chinaman ....and you're certainly no accountant! And if you really are an accountant/bookkeeper, then paying for a listing or lying (and it can only be one of them) does nothing whatsoever for your reputation. Well, apart from kills it.

Have you even noticed that the 'Popular Links' (bottom of page), cease to be links after Building Services? Is everything in the C-Z listing 'Unpopular'?

Funnily enough, able to read and work a mouse, I noticed that you weren't there last night (in 'bookkeeping' as I wrote - check my post), hence I put the only 2 that showed across the 2 categories.

EJF were the only bookkeepers there last night.

• It's amazing that your listing has just appeared this morning.
• It's even more amazing that you say you've paid £295 for that.
• And it's quite astoundingly, flabbergastingly amazing that you'd already received quite a few calls BEFORE even being listed!

Hayes, That is the worst directory I've ever seen in my life, Don't believe you've had calls and if you really paid £295 for a listing in there then sorry but you were mugged!
There are about as many directories on the internet as there are mega bytes, the day anyone gets calls from that directory will be the day satan ice skates to work.

Hayes go and join google places, and do some online social media you'll get more from it!!

I think you ought to look up the word 'slander' in a dictionary. You'll find it not too far from the word 'directory', which might be worth a look at too.

As for 'stupid remarks' (I'll let others judge that), I think you'll find when you enter a business forum you might come across people who have ideas about business-like things and who are spirited enough to say what they think.

So, to use your own words.... becare.

I listed my other business (software design services) on there just last night and I've already had a call regarding our service from a potential new customer.

The directory is real and it works. It's a great deal for just £295 !

Our new customer MR B Gates, say's he has a problem with windows7 and that it was his idea.

I hope we can help him !
