I am opening up an online retail store and i am just wondering if anyone could help me on finding good fashionable/ trendy clothing for men. I am looking to supply high end fashion items (shirts, blazers, jeans, jean shorts, chinos, chino shorts etc) and also casual clothing like jogger suits or casual but smart T-shirts, hoodies, jackets, jumpers, cardigan style etc. The only ones i can find for men are really cheap looking, low quality designs which will take months to sell 2 of them.

Its to early days to contact bigger brands to ask if i can sell their stock, i have tried this and an agent has advised me to wait and build up my shop first, but it is hard to build up a shop when im struggling to find any decent mens clothing.

if anyone can help me i would really appreciate it!

Suggestions on womens clothing and even kids clothing are also welcome, thanks in advance!

Try local wholesalers in London (CommercialRoad) or Manchester.(Bury New Road)

Visit exhibitions for the category of clothing you're looking for, these are generally held at the NEC Birmingham, or London venues at either, Olympia, Earls Court, or Exel.

Contact each venue to see the exhibitions and dates.

It can take many years to get the 'main' brands, and it is a bit part of the set up work of an online store trawling for those that will supply you.

It is worth it though. And important to buy directly from the brands approved channels, because that way you can be certain you have the real thing.

We do not use wholesalers for that reason. We network to find out who has the products, we phone the brands themselves.

It takes time. In the meantime, of course, you need stock to sell unless you can afford to wait - which is what we did. We waited. We worked at it. And we still do!.

@Paul Norman - I've seen your site advertised somewhere else, It's nice to meet the creator. I'm trying to establish my own online store which is currently in development - It's a lot harder than I thought.

In relation to the topic - a few good wholesalers are:-

QClothing, J5 Fashion & MissiClothing. Google them.

I've used QClothing recently and have experienced great customer service along with great item quality. Hope this helps.
