If I were to list my subcontractors for a government tender, but I am not 100% sure I will be able to work with them at the time of the tender, is that still okay? Can I change my subcontractors after I get the tender if needed?
Hi, you will usually have to get prior consent from the government to use ones not listed in the original tender bid/ tender response. This lets them do due diligence (or have the choice to do it). From October this year and with the Procurement Act, this transparency will be under more scrutiny so is important to get it right. Typically for subcontractors you will be asked what will be subcontracted, why, existing relationships and experience of working with them and what management controls you have in place.
