Hi All

I am a owner of aerial and satellite television installation and maintenence company for which I have run for approx a year to date.

I am looking for advice on tendering. Starting from locating and finding tenders to advice on getting tenders accepted and producing tenders.

I previously worked for a big firm and am experienced within my trade to a fairly high standard, working on systems for blocks of flats etc. However since I started my own firm I have found it very difficult to get this type of work.

I will welcome any response.

Thanks in advance

Hi Thomas,

I've just joined the forum and noticed your post. We provide free access to Government Tenders on our website at government-online.net/government-tenders/ and free tender guidance on the same website. There's no catch. The tenders section includes high and low level tenders. Have a look at the tender guidance and see if that's enough to get you going. If you need more info I can direct you to some other free sources.

Richard.

Hi Dharmesh,

Actually search results should automatically be displayed according to date.
The Government Tenders page has the most recent tenders displayed first.
However, you can also locate tenders via the Tender Categories Listing (government-online.net/tender-categories/). Choose a category and click on it. The first results will be the latest and the last the oldest.

Richard

You're website is very useful, but can you improve the search function, as it is not very good. Once you search you can't sort the search results by date, which is a pain, unless I'm not using it properly?

Thanks

If i put a search term in the search box on the right hand side it brings up results in a new window, but the results arent in date order, try it with 'security', the first result is dated 20 july 2012, next is 19 june 2012 but the fourth is dated 11 October 2012. Is there a different search function that I cant see?

The list of tenders in date order is not so useful as I'm searching for certain tenders and I dont want to see all of them, given how many there are.

Regards
Dharmesh
