Hi

I am trying to find out about different ways to get some kind of telephone relay service for a business i.e. I don't want to give my personal mobile number out but I don't want to miss any important calls either. so what are the options ?

Even getting another phone etc wouldn't work as I won't be able to answer the phone all the time while busy with other things etc.

I gather there are organisations that can act as an office for you but are there any cheaper options ?

How about a landline number that diverts to your mobile, tells you it is a business call and gives you the option to accept or reject the call? Rejected calls will go to a business voicemail or a call answering service?

Personally I use Answer.co.uk and am very happy with the sevice, which works out at just under £1 per call

Hi Portoman - You can get an 0207 number from EE for that diverts to your mobile number for £10 a month, I'm sure most mobile providers offer a similar service.

We are looking at becoming a reseller/white label for Call Answering on 24/7 basis on some script requirements.
We have sadly been quoted some silly prices for per minute or per call basis.
Does anyone know who some of the largest resellers are out there as we currently supply some large companies that we would like to offer a call answering service to.

It sounds like you could benefit from switching to a VoIP phone service. For example, two of the VoIP services we provide (OneNet and Horizon) are capable of giving you a landline number that doubles as a mobile number. Which essentially means that you can provide your customers with one number, that when called, rings through your landline first, before switching to your mobile.

This means that you still have a private mobile number, but you're also less likely to miss calls.
