telephone headset recommendations please

Looking for a binaural telephone headset that plugs in to a phone with a jack plug ... any recommendations please?

Hi Lisa & Tracey,

I can certainly recommend Plantronics headsets, several styles from wired to cordless, monaural or binaural, noise cancelling or not. For call centre type operations then the Supra or Encore are good. As per usual budget will play a part as you can expect to pay between £50-£200 for decent headsets.

More than happy to steer you in the right direction if you have any further questions.

As background to my thoughts, i've been supplying, installing and maintaining office telephone systems for nearly 20 years and without doubt the Plantronics units seem to last the longest. If you're heavey users then pay extra, if it's only for the odd call then there are certainly cheaper models out there.

I agree with Jon - I use a Plantronics headset and not a moment's problem with it.

Plantronics are seen everywhere these days, the weapon of choice for local call centres here.

Another vote for Plantronics. You want to budget £200 for a decent headset.

IMO:

A £10 Headset is useless
A £50 Headset would be fine to make 1-2 calls a day
A £200 Headset is needed if that's what you do for a living

Doro make a number of headsets which are decent quality. Plantronics are the market leaders and produce very good products, but at a price.

I know a good website, I just searched it, unfortua, the binaural telephone headset currentlly in back order now. But they have telephone headsets. You can search the items in ebay if you still need binaural telephone headset that plugs in to a phone.
