Telemarketing Database

I've been offered a quote by a database provider offering me 268 targeted companies with key decision makers, telephone numbers, size of company etc for £ 117 + VAT - this seems a little pricey to me especially as they are trying to tell me I'm only allowed to contact them once (i.e. its a single use database) - if I want an annual contract where I can contact them again and get the database updated I need to pay another £60 plus VAT.

I'm fairly new to the telemarketing game but need this data for a pilot I'm doing with my telemarketer in the next couple of weeks - does this seem like a reasonable deal and if not where should I be sourcing data from ideally.

There are around 100 data brokers in the UK so it would be simple to get you a few quotes.

For a B2B multi use list, this sounds excessive - I would recommend 1000 as your point of purchase and pay around the 20-25p per record for multi use.

Grab a sample, test it and make your decision from there.
