As Paul Casey looks to have blown the Masters, I thought I'd get on with some work.

I have a mobile contract with Vodafone. I need a Blackberry and Vodafone said they'd upgrade my account to include the blackberry data tariff but I would need to buy a Blackberry and have been quoted £100.00. As a new customer I would get the handset for free so I'm not too happy to have to pay.

If there another cost effective way of doing this?
Can I buy a Blackberry cheaper elsewhere that would be Vodafone compatible?
Should I just sign up as a new customer with another network?

Secondly I need to install another phone line at home for the business. Who would you recommend to use and what are the costs involved (installation, monthly line rental, call tariffs).

Do you actually need a Blackberry? Don't know what Vodaphone offer, but there are other phones that can deal with email.

I've just got my Blackberry and am loving it!!

I am with T-Mobile and for £40 a month I get free weekend calls, Unlimited internet access and emails as well as £180 of credit on the phone each month. I had a Nokia N95 before but much prefer the push emails of the Blackberry. I've had it two weeks and am not sure how I lived without it!!
