Hi if you are an employee on your own ltd company (tax N.I ect is paid with wage) would you still have to do a personnel tax return:|

Are you a director of the company as well as an employee? If you are then you probably will need to file a return; if you are just an employee you are probably on PAYE so no return would be needed. However, this advice is general as without knowing the details of your business and status it is impossible to say for certain what you would need to do. You could ring HMRC and check with them too?

    There is no legal basis for saying that a director must file a tax return

    The OP has already said that he doesn't believe that a form has been issued by HMRC and therefore he or she doesn't have to do one
