Taking the first step....

Hello everyone,

We are fresh company that is looking to take the first step in the services industry. We specialize in document scanning. Our main target audience are people with a lot of files/documents they want digitized to (among other things i.e backup) rationalize the way they search for data.

We already have the staff,website,storage, machinery and equipment etc and are ready to go....but

Probably the most difficult thing is how do we engage people and attract customers.

Any tips and ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Get in your car and go to the industrial estates near you. It is called "Cold Calling"

All you need to do is be friendly to the people who you meet and ask them if they can help you. Tell them your story and they will tell you who to speak to.

It is a hard slog, but you will get a feel that way.

On top of that, get good SEO for your website will being in enquiries.

Yup, SEO is always a good bet. Other online marketing methods would involve adwords, email marketing, banner advertising, partnering with other companies who may have the same clients, etc, etc...

Think creatively and keep consistent in your efforts to attract clients... and they will come
