Taking Payment

There are so many options any advice would be great.

I am only looking to work a budget for this into a business plan and don't fully understand.

Scenario:
I need to take both card and cash payments 'out in the field' and print receipts. That's it.
I have no interest in tracking staff sales, stock, customer details, orders and will be selling a small product range.

I guess I need to find a cash register w/ draw and receipt printer. Can something like Handepay/izettle/sumup then be run over 3g and connected to the receipt printer of my cash register setup?

Cash Register/draw/printer £150
Card reader £50
Card transaction fee around 1.7% -I can't charge extra, can I discount cash paying customers? ;)

Many thanks in advance!

Oh, I'll also need to run this all off of 12v but I don't see that causing a huge drama...

It does look that way. I have been doing some research today and learned a lot. My remaining question is how best to incorporate Card payments with cash...

Can I connect both with one receipt printer?
I guess I'll have to run an End Of Day process with each (cash and card) individually?

Oh, and as for mortgages I have no idea if we are being robbed. Maybe, but anyone willing to lend £150k to many many people A) have plenty of risk and B) have a sh!t tone of costs.

I agreed to the terms so I'm not going to wine about it.
