Hi guys and girls, I’m wondering if anyone can provide me with some information? I’m wanting to print T-shirts and hoodies, for both M&F . Obviously i don’t have the equipment to do this myself at the moment so i’m looking to get this all done for me and delivered to me then i’ll sell on my own website. Can anyone point me in the right direction > ?

Thank You in advance .

We got shut of all our t-shirt printing gear as it really wasn't worth turning the press on for one shirt and a few quid.

You can buy a shirt/hoodie dirt cheap but if you're not ordering £100's of stock you're stung with carriage, which you have to pass on the customer.

So you order in £100's of stock in varying sizes, colours, and then someone orders more shirts than you have in stock, want a different colour, or you sell out of all you black shirts, and only need to order 20 of those and again your hit with carriage which bumps up the unit cost considerably on small orders.

My thoughts were either charge a ridiculous amount to make it worth while, or throw a ridiculous amount of money at stock to make it viable at lower prices. In the end we just sold the lot and concentrated on what makes us higher margins.

I'm in the process of starting my IT Consultancy business and came across a guy who was also in the process of starting a printing business. I could hit him up and find out if he'd be interested in you like? And if you need any help with websites/promo material etc. hit me up and i'll sort you something out!
