Survey Leads

I've been researching will writing leads to expand my business.
I came across online landing page leads but at £45 a pop they're out of my budget at the moment.
I have also come across companies offering sponsored telephone survey leads. So basically as part of their survey they'll ask if the person has a will, if answer is no then they'll ask would you be interested in speaking to someone about a will? if the answer is yes then within 24 hours they'll send me the details. The charge per lead for such leads is around 1.50 per lead.

Anyone tried these sponsored survey leads, what was your experience with them?

I have no idea how many leads you are required to buy nor what sort of profit you would make on a successful sale. But @ £1.50 a pop can you really lose out by finding this out for yourself?

The thing is the company that seems the most professional has a minimum requirement of 1000 leads, which means I'd have to pay 1500 to test.

Having purchased 'leads' in the past, tbh in my experience they have tended to just be a list of names and addresses that are not on TPS. I have always, always regretted the purchase. Why not get 10 of your colleagues to get together and purchase btwn you.
How many will appointments a day do you need to make it pay? Have you thought of standing in your local supermarket or garden centre for a day?

Surely if this company wish to sell leads to you then you could negotiate a test run...maybe 100-200? If you can close a few of these then the profit will go in some part, if not all, to pay for a batch of 1500. Win Win. Talk to them and tell them that you need to test before purchase. If they won't let you then they either know that they are crap leads and looking to hit you big first time round or they are just complete noobs

She's the girl to see...and give her my love too. Seriously...call her
