supplier agreement

We have a customer that is 60% of our business - I know-scary.

They are insisting that we sign a supplier agreement with some very punitive clauses . For example financial penalties if we put them on stop and agreements to reduce prices every year.

Where can we get the proper legal advice and how much roughly should we be paying for that advice?
We are only a small company and some of the clauses could break us - but if we don't sign we are in a vunerable position as well.

Hi Guinness,

It's really hard to know where to go for legal advice when you're a small business and especially hard to know which lawyers actually offer good value for money.

To solve this problem I started Lexoo.co.uk . We help businesses connect with the right lawyer. All of the lawyers are pre-screened by me and work on a fixed price basis. We'll get you multiple quotes so that you can compare each lawyers' experience and cost side by side.

We'd love to be able to help you out, so if you're still looking head to our site and we'll do our best.

Thanks,
Daniel

I have sent you a PM also but essentially you need a commercial lawyer who is familiar with agreement negotiations and can help you protect your interests and reduce your risk without upsetting the relationship you have. The ideal situation for you is a fixed cost quote.
