suing a limited company

I'm going to sue a limited company.
I've looked up their registered address. However, when I go through the court service wizard, their "find address" function doesn't find their company at that address.
I've had to input it manually.
Does this mean they're not really at this address? It seems to be a sole trader, so could he not physically be at the address, and is having his mail redirected?

If he is, is there any point in winning the case as I don't know his private address.

And what are the consequences for his company and the named director if he gets a CCJ against him?

If you have served the documents on the limited company's registered address, then that is as much as you can do. Wait and see what happens.

You are suing a ltd company. There is no 'he'.

I would suggest that if you have trouble working out how to find the address, you will have even more trouble actually getting any money from the company. You also seem to not understand the difference between a sole trader and a company.

If you are going to sue, use a solicitor. If it is the £150 website developer you have posted about then don’t waste your time.

You take legal action against the company and win, whatever debt is owed by the company. Not any directors.
The company is a separate legal entity. Company does not pay, you take action against the company. If the company liquidates you get whatever is left after priority payments are made to others.

Private address does not matter, you are chasing the company not any private individual.

A sole trader however is not a company.

.....It seems to be a sole trader,
These are two different things so which is it? A sole trader is a person - you have to sue them personally. A Ltd company is a separate legal entity - you have to sue the company not the individual. If you sue the wrong one your claim will be thrown out.

Who exactly is the original contract with? Whose name/details are on the paperwork?
