Root 66 Woodshop

I'd have thought that would depend on who was to have it installed.

Your every day Mancunian, who goes out once a day to collect his/her dole would most probably opt for Vinyl flooring...

While the tip top tally ho, pim's and lemonade swilling cockney sparra who work's every day to earn a crust may just opt for the marble flooring...

However, those brummie's go for the inbetween option... Marble effect Vinyl flooring in topaz!

;)

Only jesting with you... depends on cost I'd say. :D

Which is better vinyl flooring or marble flooring for kitchen?

Vinyl flooring will be warmer (assuming you don't use under floor heating for the marble,

As mentioned costs will dictate what you need to do.

But when you have a look at a top of the range house do they use vinyl or marble flooring. I think that will give you the answer. It's marble every time.

    Hi

It depends on you're house and the style of your kitchen.

Do you want to add value to your property ?

Do you just want it to look OK, cheap and cheerful ?

There is another relatively low cost option, that has the wow factor......

    Natural slate.

Your labour charges are what will hit you the most when laying down any floor tiling, and this should always be done by a professional.

In short - both options you point out are OK

    Depends on your pockets.

    Happy Xmas
