I have a question regarding subsistence.
I have a new client who works as a site manager, travelling between various sites within about a 50-60 mile radius of his home.
He claims employment expenses on his tax return.
I have worked out the amount to claim for mileage.
Would I be allowed to claim anything for subsistence?
He does not receive a meal allowance from his employer.
I have looked through the HMRC guidance but cant find an answer.
Any help much appreciated
