I am looking to mass submit to social bookmarking sites as part of my linking strategy for my websites.
I am looking for either an automatic or semi-automatic tool that will help me in this process.
Does anyone have any recommendations what would be the best one to use?

I would prefer the free services but if there is a good paid service, I would be happy to use it

I am really looking for recommendations based on personal experience as I have found this has always been the best way to find the best tools.

Social Bookmarking Demon is paid, I have it but don't use it I wouldn't bother submitting to thousands, you'd be better off making each submission unique and submit to 20-50

I use SocialAdr. It really is simple to use. You add the url, title and description. Select what keywords are associated with the site you want to promote and click go.

I have been using it as part of my campaign for some months now and have 8,000 plus submissions.

Social bookmarking sites really are good for a site. It really is good for boosting traffic to a site as well as getting good backlinks if one really know how to perform it properly like submitting site url in digg, stumbleupon, reddit, etc.

As you've said your looking for a tool to automate social bookmarking, google "Social Bot" (Not allowed to post links)

Just a little tip though, the links provided by social bookmarking websites barely take any effect now, if it was a few years ago, just submitting you website to Digg.com would get your site indexed instantly, now the whole game has changed.

Barely anyone is using social bookmarking websites anymore, which is making the quality of the backlinks poorer and poorer.

Of course there are many, many people who still use social bookmarking as a way to build backlinks, but it's not very effect to gain results, in fact I only ever personally use social bookmarking as a way to get backlinks I've built indexed quicker.

My two cents, don't waste your time trying to rank well for keywords from social bookmarking, just use it to help get your backlinks indexed.

Yes, I think bookmarking should be a wise way to attract spider to crawl the site shortly now rather than get backlinks. A lot links of booking marking sites are nofollow attribute. But if the post can bring you large traffic, it is another case.
