I've got myself in a bit of a mess since setting up Stripe as a bank account on sage.
Each payout i receive from Stripe posts a bank transfer to my Bank account but then posts a credit to a suspense account 9999.
So at the end of each month i have a balance on this suspense account which i thought i would just journal off to bank account.
However then when i come to do Bank rec, i am out by the amount of said journal, as the payments from stripe are fed into the bank account automatically from stripe account and then also from the bank account feed. how is the best way to stop this please? i'm so confused with it, i thought setting stripe up as a bank account on sage would make life easier :-(
