Strike off LTD - questions and recommendations

I have created a company a year ago but unfortunately the project never picked up. We never had transactions, bank account etc. I live abroad and have missed deadline for filming the yearly reports. I contacted companies house and sent a DS01 form. Will this be enough? I have extreme anxiety about this. The company has been inactive therefore there's anything pending. What should I do? Any recommendations? Any implications I could face?

Thank you for your reply! No the company unfortunately never took off, there are no assets or debt.

It will be struck off automatically for non-filing of accounts so there is nothing for you to do. End of story.

Thank you for your comment. To be precise: the company has never traded, no assets or debts and no bank accounts associated. It has always been inactive since the program did not continue since early beginnings.

If you've sent the DS01 and your payment your company should now be showing as being struck-off when you search on the name here (find company information) https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/companies-house

It'll take a few months to finally be struck-off.
