I have been set up as a ltd company now for quite a few months and i need a cheap unit to store items that were not used on projects ,but can be used on future projects.

I have had a look at these companies offering storage but they dont give you much space and are expensive for what you get.

So as a fairly new company i have been looking around for a unit to let but a small one as my budget is not fantastic.

I am based near warrington and was looking at maybe trying to share with someone that has a unit that might have a spare room as my need is only to store materials now and then.

If i did get a unit on my own which are expensive but not as expensive as these storage companies that are about can i claim anything to help me pay for the unit from the tax or am i only allowed the vat on it back.

Kind regards mike.

Not sure what part of Warrington but if you head over towards Woolston/irlam way it is a lot cheaper in this areas I found and there's a few farms etc about that offer storage in barns etc

Im from irlam originally, moved some time ago but still nip back for family visiting and every time I go there's to let signs on units or something

Or depending what it is your storing have you tried the self store place near the kfc etc? (regent retail park) I think its called? If it's even still there

This could be one for Gumtree or your local free ads:

"Wanted, approx 100 sqft (or whatever it is you need) storage space, with access during working hours in the Warrington area. Great way to use up that room you don't know what to do with, and help out a local business. Contact me with offers."

See if anyone bites.

There is lot of storage firm nearby warrington and I think before hiring the services of any warehouse ,firstly one should take the advice of people who have used services earlier would be a logical step. It would help in knowing the good and bad things about the various storage houses.
