I need an app for my Android phone that:

    * Import a list of products *without* the barcode.
    * Allows me to scan a barcode.
    * If the barcode exists in the product list, update the stock by 1.
    * If not, ask me to assign the barcode to a product and then updates the stock.
    * Export the results back to a spreadsheet or some other such document.

Does anyone know of anything that does this? Ta in adv.

Well it sounds like it does what you described and it's free, why don't you download it and see?

I'm quite capable of searching for an app on my own but the purpose of this thread was to try and save time by asking for information from people who have actually used something that does what I described in the OP. If no one has, or if there isn't one, then fair enough.

I think your tone towards the poster who tried to help you is a little belligerent and think you should maybe work on your manners, they were only trying to help you.

I did not ask for your opinion on my manners. Did you have anything of value to say about the question posed?

The forum is bad enough with people not reading OPs properly and not answering the question asked.

lol the forum is bad enough, you post on here for free looking for advice then speak to people in a rude manner when they try to help, if the forum is bad I'd look a little closer to home for the reason

Does it scan barcodes or do anything that I asked about in the OP?
It really really Does :) have a read and you'll be scanning barcodes with your favourite device in no time, and as an additional bonus, you'll learn valuable and long lasting personal skills whilst your at it, maybe being rude and abrupt really is cool in Japan but so is Godzilla whereas here its not so cool, have fun with your personal development journey
