Stock Photo Sites for 2018

Hi All,

I'm looking for any recommendations for stock photo sites that have a wide selection of images, are easy to search and find what you need, and are affordable (prefer a monthly subscription with a fair amount of usage allowed).

I had been using dollarphotoclub, which was great, until they sold to Adobe Stock.

Have looked at https://elements.envato.com but figured there were others with better selection and usability, hence this post.

Recommendations appreciated!

We've used Fotolia for over a decade - rare not to be able to find what we want on there

I use photospin.com which has a decent selection and options to pay per image (from $2) or $49 per month for up to 500

Sorry, but Fotolia got bought by Adobe Stock as well. I've already got a subscription there.

You can use a free stock photo site if you don't run any big project.
You can use those photos even for business purposes and you don't need to place a ref link etc.

Sorry, but Fotolia got bought by Adobe Stock as well. I've already got a subscription there.

Yes they did but you can still use the original fotolia (better imo!) for now !

Dont'd forget this is for free, you get there really good pictures done professional way. Some of them look's really good and can be used in your commercial project for free, without paying a money to another stock agency.

Dreamstime have a pretty good selection. Some unusual ones in there as well.

I spoke with a lawyer who deals in IP issues. He told me that his biggest single item he dealt with was when pictures are incorrectly captioned. Go to Pixababy and use an image with a wrong caption and you could end up paying your client massive damages when they have to reprint a time sensitive brochure. Amateur images might be cheap but there are risks in using them.

Another vote for Dreamstime, I've been using them for probably 10 years, I always find what I need there.
