We are on the look out for software to manage our stock with the below requirements.
  1. Supplier Records
Be able to scan in via bar-code products from a supplier to record the purchase date, purchase price, warranty period, product name, Serial Number, Mac Address.

  2. Customer Records
Store products dispatched to each customer on their account. Order comes in, we scan the box we are sending out to the customer. This then stores the product details against the customer account to include the supplier used, warranty period, serial number, mac address.

  3. Product Records
be able to see stock levels of each product, the sales for each product and basally an overview of how well each product is selling with automated notifications if a stock level is running low.
Plugs in
to be able to update Magento Store stock levels automatically and be able to use hand-held scanners to scan in and out products via barcode.

not done any research yet on the above requirements however thought i would ask here to see if anyone else uses a system which will do the above

Hi it-comms

It is definitely worth looking at Brightpearl (disclaimer we are Brightpearl partners), as they have a good barcode integration with the likes of Boxora, for record keeping there is real time data of stock levels and also there is a neat integration with Magento for your store.

It's worth trying out a free 30-day trial which you can access from our partner page; http://www.gillespiebs.co.uk/brightpearl

Good luck with your search!

New to the forum, but very experienced in using stock management software. We used to have Linnworks but got fed up with it and have recently switched over to using OrderWise for our stock control and order management. It easily integrates with our website and is so simple to use. I'd highly recommend it.
