Status checking a charity

Hi,

I could do with some advice.

We usually deal with limited companys and use duedil.com to get a feel for the company ahead of offering any terms.

We now have a charitable trust looking to use us and I need to run a quick status check to ensure they exist and get a feel if possible for their accounts.

Is there somewhere online or somewhere I can call to check the charity exists, is bonafide and how long they have been registered ?

Yes, you can look on the Charity Commission website.

Just because an organisation is a charity doesn't mean it can or will pay it's bills. You should carry out your usual credit checks with whoever you use.
