Starting an energy broker business

Hi

I have a good contact of clients over the years and have discussed with a few and mentioned switching over. Some were interested and I wondered what options there are to start a brokerage or working with a split with a broker.

I think the issue is finding the right broker as I was told many are not transparent and will not give you the right commission, is this true.
