Yes i do, i am coming to the end of my 3 year psychology degree at the moment so things are getting a bit tense now. I started my business at the start of year 2 so just over a year ago.
Basically its just a case of taking it slowly so you can manage it all. Bit by bit i got everything in place i needed to run my business before i started advertising, that way i wasn't going to be stressing and running around like an idiot when customers finally came along. The next thing was to start advertising little by little so you could find the right level of customers for you to cope with. Then all i have to do is gradually up the advertising just before the holidays so i could go off and run the business on a more full time scale and then taper it back down again when i went back to uni.
I hire equipment out and have to deliver it in the mornings and collect it on the evenings, luckily for me all my uni lectures are mid day and thats only 3 days a week. If i get stuck i pay a couple of reliable friends to do the drops for me.
Even though my business is fairly simple to run there is always something to think about especially when your getting it up and running such as T&C's insurances, payments options, contact options etc. The biggest thing i would say is be PATIENT, you cant go anywhere fast in uni so take the time to really get everything in place so when you finish you are ready to crack on with a ssmooth running business.
What are you studying? I ran a business while in university and found that I had a silly amount of time to work on it, it just required really good timetabling and a bit of discipline on my part...
