Started a Business - Advice to help grow it please!

Hi @NewGardenStyle We were looking for some advice and tips on marketing strategies to help grow the business. Some mentioned particular campaigns that we could run on social media which was really useful. Others suggested altering the look of the box, which again was a great tip. So we came to UKBF to learn marketing strategies that perhaps we didn't know before.

Hi, might be worth looking at the 'Unique' model too....although this product/franchise is female product orientated could their model work for you? Also what about 'Corporate Xmas Gift Boxes' targeting those who provide staff gifts? Just some thoughts.

Hi Mark, thanks for bringing my attention to Unique, it may be of interest so we will definitely take a look at this.

And the Corporate Xmas Gift Boxes didn't occur to us at all! Thanks for the suggestion, it could be a hit and a great way to help expand our customer/subscriber base. Appreciate the great advice!

Just to expand on a little on what I said before. You have mentioned Graze - they spend a fortune on marketing as they need a constant stream of new subscribers to maintain / increase their subscription numbers. They are in magazine inserts, Amazon boxes, etc. offering the first box for free. You need to be somewhere like this, someday. In the meantime, you can team up with bloggers, which might give you a quick bit of traction as and when you get coverage but is unlikely to be scaleable. You could target Instagram accounts with a high number of target market followers, eg a male fashion blogger opening one of your boxes. Of course, you'll have to pay them to do this. Traditional PR - get yourself in the likes of Mens Health / Esquire / GQ. Explore if you can establish a longer term relationship with them. Appreciate that budgets are limited (like 99% of us) but I think that it's going to be down to a big marketing spend to really scale your business to a sustainable level. Of course, all the time you are doing your own SM campaigns, SEO etc. Still, Rome wasn't built in a day...

@NewGardenStyle I agree, Graze spend a fortune on marketing, but that is why they are so successful (and of course they have a great subscription product). Hopefully someday TOPPBOX could do the same.

Thanks for the tips! We are active on Instagram but have not got into contact with others who have a target following - great tip which we will definitely implement!
I can see that establishing a relationship with traditional PR and even bloggers is essential - thanks for the great advice!

I guess you're right, a big marketing spend will be a major contributor to the growth of the business. There are some ways around this as you have mentioned, but essentially it comes down to having deep pockets.

Thanks once again, I really appreciate your response!
