Start Up Grants

Does anyone know where there are currently good grants or incentives on offer to start new businesses?
Specifically a small high tech scientific manufacturing business.

Have had a quick look around the south of England but there doesnt seem to be too much help out there.

There is funding available for training if you are taking on any staff? There is significant funding available to fund training for young people especially. Feel free to PM me if you would like an introduction to a good training provider.

The location and specific industry/sector, number of employees projected and other variables would impact on available grants, which could include EU funds.

Without more detail its impossible to advise further.
