I have done some research on a business I am interested in starting and I have recently put together a website for the business which is nearly ready to go live.
So far I have put together a website, I have chosen a business name which is not registered with Companies House and I have a list of products required for the business.
I am pretty much ready to start trading but the only thing I need is a start up grant. I am only looking for £3500-£4000 which most of it (£3000-£3500) will be for a Van, but I am unsure where to turn.
About 5 years ago I approached the Princes Trust about a completely different business idea and spent about 3 months writing business plans, having meetings and even having a final meeting with the 3 board members who make the final decision on funding. They all seemed to like the business idea and granted the loan which was only about £1600 but then everything went quiet and they did not get back in touch with me, so I am not too keen on going down that route again.
