Staff Clocking in System

Does anyone have any recommendations for clocking in systems for staff.

Was thinking an ipad on the door with an app that allows them to log in/out when they are in the building?

bio metric Face scanner on entrance that will send data as CSV file to accounts to match against time and payroll. Cost less than an ipad

I used to do a lot of work finding system implementation consultants for Kronos (now UKG) so know there are a lot of options out there. Just make sure if you go down the facial recognition route you test the system first - my wife works in cctv tech support and I know from her how variable the accuracy of different systems are.

And some are better or worse with certain skin tones etc so it will depend upon your workforce

There are also T&A systems that use a finger print or even just finger length (Kronos put one into TXMaxx that did that - the staff thought it was doing full hand print but it was really looking at comparative lengths/size)

I use Rota Cloud.

You can set up a tablet for clocking in to a single premises. You can also get staff to clock in and out on their own mobile devices.
You can set up geofencing as well to ensure they're at the location when clocking in.

Used it for many years and had no problems. It also has a rota scheduling system if that helps.
