I'm getting a spammer putting endless 'trackbacks' on my wordpress blog. It's real pain in the arse! Different ip address everytime! I don't care about about his 'buy facebook fans' website.

Any ideas to stop him apart from just deleting them everytime they appear? I mean he was doing it even over Christmas!!

Wordpress offers a plugin called simple trackback validation.

have a look at that, it might be what you're after.

Welcome to SEO. Most of these SEO companies are junk that spam peoples websites. When paying for SEO, make sure they aren't pomped up spam outfits and you understand what you are paying for.

TBH though all I did was google stop trackback spam and read the review.

Ahh! Should have tried that. I did do a spam search on wordpress plugins and tried a couple, but they were of no use!

Akismet works just fine for me. I'm also using a plugin called Bad Behavior and a captcha plugin.

Jump onto Odesk and outsource a new job.

Wordpress plugin required.

Write exactly what you want the plugin to do, get an offshore coder to make it for $50/$100 and if it works how you want it to you may be able to sell it to others.
