Hi, as a Registered Gas Installer I have been on the tools for too long now and would like to have a change of career, it's still in the same industry but just on the other side lol.
I am thinking about setting up a spares business.
I have zero experiance of this and havnt got a clue as to where to source the stock etc.I have a shop which is on a main road and would be ok for this type of retail outlet.
I am not too hard up financially, I would just like to have a change as my body wo'nt take much more.
This is something that will take me to retiremnt and beyond lol.
This is a 'first step' so to speak, maybe someone here could give me the push in the right direction?
I look forward to your replies.
Thanks
Mal

You want to look at sourcing your goods first, find a decent wholesaler online and build up a good relationship with them to get a good deal. then you want to look at your target market, who are they? Do you know any of them? If you can get in with someone that's highly influential in their area then they'll pass on a good word about you which will boost business quickly.
