Sourcing Agent/ Purchasing Agent

Hi All,


I am brand new to this website so please bear with me. I need some advice.


I am currently based in the UK and I am looking for Sourcing Agents based in China. I need sourcing agents who can come with me to international trade fairs such as Canton Fair who are able to translate for me when talking to non-English suppliers. It would be great for the souring agents to also come with me to visit many factories based in China. I also need a sourcing agent who can put me in touch with suppliers that can offer me a wide variety of services and products at low costs. My souring agents also must be able to Inspect and qualities check my items as I am planning to buy in bulk and this is important for my customers that they get quality products.


Another thing that is important to me is shipping. I need a great agent who can help me get cheap shipment, as my customers are global.

I need souring agents that specialize in Hair Extensions, Wigs, Clothing, Handbags, Wedding dresses, Hair dressing tools & beauty tools, Hair clips, furniture for hair and beauty salons, Nail Polish, Perfume, Bath Gift sets, Shoes, Real Fur i.e Fox Fur, Prescription Glasses, Sun Glasses, Contact Lenses, Stationary, Teeth whitening supplies, Private label Skin care, Private label makeup, Beauty cases, makeup trolleys, disposable makeup supplies, makeup brushes etc.


Does anyone know any good sourcing agents or purchasing agents in China that you have used. That would be of great use to me. If anyone has used sourcing agents or purchasing agents could you please explain how it went. I am tried researching if anyone knows of any websites where souring agents may advertise that would be fantastic.


I am definitely sure that I do want a sourcing agent and purchasing agent in China so please do not write on this thread about not trusting china, as my family are all business people and they have been fine with buying in China.


I have done research and found a link on alibaba for purchasing agents buy they are mainly factory workers, which obviously promote the factory that they are looking for. I am not looking for that. Mainly I am looking for just sourcing/ purchasing agents.

Just want to applaud you for using an agent! Exactly the right course of action.

If you find the right agent, they will know of factories to visit directly rather than going to trade fairs. My biggest supplier in China does not exhibit.

Totally agree with GraemeL, trade fairs (including Canton fair) are not necessarily the best avenue for finding the best factory for your products. However they can be a good source to see new products and new ideas.

Yeah you'd better contact a conslidate shipping agent to help you source and check product quality as well as consolidate your packages into big one to save your shipping fee.

We are a sourcing company, but not in your industry.

I'd suggest you find a sourcing agent close to your main factories. Good luck.
