Hey Guys,
Need some help on putting some sort of quotation system in place/using a quoting software.

We sell electrical goods to industry, and the business is getting quite busy now so we need some sort of quote system that can be used that when an enquiry comes in via Email/Phone/Fax we can input it into a system which will assign our company ref no, which we can then use to get a quote from our suppliers and quote the customer.

The most important part we need is to be able to generate various reports, e.g. time taken to quote customer, did we win order, did we follow up/if so what did we loose out on (e.g price/delivery/service), what discount we gave customer.

We need something easy to use, and non time consuming, im hoping there is already some sort of software out there.

You should look into integrated software, as using a separate quoting system on top of whatever else you use (crm, pm, accounting, etc) could be very troublesome.

You can handle your Contacts, product lists, quotes/estimates, leads, and tasks through WORKetc. You can also turn your quotes into invoices with one click. WORKetc integrates with your website so that you can gather all possible leads/inquiries directly from the site, effectively automating lead generation, and then quote them through the system.

There's other features that come with the system as well, if you're interested you're better off looking into it yourself.
