My wife sustained severe damage to her car last December due to a deep pothole directly adjacent to a speed bump.
We've been corresponding with the City Council ever since, and have decided to pursue it through the Small Claims Court.
However, via their solicitor, they've offered us an out of court settlement, which we've rejected.
Due to the fact that they've made us an offer, surely proves their negligence and admission of liability.
The court hearing is in two weeks, we have a witness, but do we need a solicitor?
