Hello there, I'm looking for a solicitor for an economic tort case, £XX,XXX value. The person in question committed a malicious falsehood, 5 times in a 45 minute period, taking advantage of a program bug that had occurred due to a sudden site redesign. It seems he stopped around the time when I started dealing with the customers that were complaining about the delays, with the mass of orders that had piled up in that time period, I was working furiously to get things working and figure out what had gone wrong, so I didn't notice until a few days later. The greedy f***er has been regularly messaging me on Skype ever since a few days after the incident, to try to get me to buy/sell him more of the goods in question.

I network with business owners who are in the same line of work as me, and I know multiple people who've been ripped off by him. One has a text conversation with a number that's clearly linked to the person, using the name of a family member for a bank account he has used elsewhere. There's even a scan of his passport online (don't know if it's real or just a fake, but he's stupid enough to use his real name).

Since the incident in question (October 2013), he has deleted some social network pages, but back in October I downloaded copies of all the social network pages I could find (and I'm fairly good at researching people, so I think I got most of it) as well as any other evidence I could find. This is a longstanding facebook account, with factors that make me certain it's the right guy, combined with the fact that he was clearly associated with the niche business sector from his Facebook profile. He owns multiple businesses, and has photos of his car online.

The transaction was fully documented, and carried out online, over a third party's service. The full transaction details, including all messages sent, are still viewable.

He's in Durham, I'm in Hertfordshire. I'd like a Solicitor in the Home Counties/London area, but I'd be open to dealing with a Solicitor in Durham over Skype until we get closer to the court date.

Joe
