So I'm using my tariff for business which was before I become self-employed was just a private mobile phone.

My tariff is always a low monthly cost with unlimited mins and text so how would I work this out for business use?

Look at an average bill and see how many minutes are spent on business and how many are private calls, and use that to work out a split between business and private. If for example 75% of time spent are for business calls you can claim 75% of the cost.

Are all your calls for business or do you still have private use? If you have private use just work out a percentage and charge that through your business accounts.
I use my personal mobile for business and personal. But my tariff is unlimited mins so never incur and call charges just a fixed monthly fee which currently comes out of my personal account.
