Sole Trader = 1 VAT Number?

Hi All;
I am registered as a sole trader and will likely go over the threshold.

However, I:

1) Sell physical products on a website
2) Sell marketing services

Would I register for one VAT number, for me as an individual, covering all of my work?

Or is it smart to set up a Ltd Co/LLC for 2) and it would have another VAT number of its own?

If you are a sole trader then your VAT registration covers all your business activities.

If you have a completely separate business then you can set it up as a limited company and it will have its own VAT registration.
