Soft Signage Marketing

How many people out there use soft signage marketing like banners, bunting, custom flags. We are the UK's largest and premium flag supplier and we want to know how you use these types of products and if we could suggest a better way of using them.

There's something funky going on with your mobile site. It has a banner that's failing which will probably put off your mobile visitors (which, with your domain name, is probably a shed load).

See: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BzCYSNPTTDFjM19GLXo0WF9ZTnM

I would suggest you take a look at your mobile site properly because it's not the most engaging experience and you could do a lot better. It's also worth looking at bounce rates (on a per page basis), time on site, exit pages and set up some Goals to see where people are going on your site and where they are not going.

You're also not trying to capture any leads which is costing you business.

OK, back to the original question. If you are looking for new market potential then I should imagine opportunities lie with:
  • Weddings
  • Amateur Football Teams
  • Funerals (A bit left field but some people do actually have a celebration. I know I will!)
  • Blogger Meet-ups
  • Outdoor Food Markets
  • Car Dealerships
  • Builders / Plumbers / Electricians (Temp signage to stick outside clients home that they take home when they leave. Checkatrade could be a huge market)
  • Mobile Signage - Somebody could have one fitted to a backpack for mobile advertising.
  • Birthdays - Special ages where people spend a bit more

As @WebshopMechanic is mentioning in the post above, there are many opportunities for your business to expand into new markets.

But there is an issue with your website where the loading time is too slow. The issue with this is that people will abandon your site if it takes too long time to load. People don't have the patience to wait 20+ seconds. You should look for another hosting provider and see if the issue can be solved this way. Apart from this, the website looks good.

Flags and banners are not the part of new era's business anymore. People are rapidly moving towards the Digital Signage Boards which catch the customers attraction and engage them easily.

Yes because I've seen loads of digital signage on car dealership forecourts, on barriers at carnivals, marathons, and similar events.

Flags and banners are low cost, reusable, and easy to deploy with a team of volunteers... it's in such decline that Dye Sublimation printing is seeing a huge increase, there are now lots of suppliers, and the result is the price drops.

Yes are not completely wrong but still, there are some places where you don't need to spend much on digital signage. Hoarding, banners or flags are enough there. The new era is more practical. Now everyone wants to make more profit by spending less. So, only after understanding the particular business & business goals we can decide that which is better for that business? "Digital Signage" or "Banners or Flags".
