You were a search engine optimiser as soon as you started actively optimising your site for the search engines. Getting to number 1 means that you are an SEO who has successfully achieved a goal, so well done for this.

The other question you should be asking is "what position does this put me in now?". And my answer to that would be...

It puts you in the ideal position to evaluate what being google number 1 in natural results for a search means in real terms. You can more accurately gauge how many of those 110 local exact match searches per month, that Google Adwords suggest are taking place, are actual real searches (not others checking their rankings and ads).

And it also puts you in an ideal position to compare the click throughs of being number 1 in the natural results with click throughs for ads or local maps clicks.

tbf mate that also sums up the quality posters that use this site that dont mind helping people out. when i joined here i didnt even really know seo exsisted nevermind what its about but thanks to all the people that have helped i at least now have a basic knowledge of seo now. says alot that people will use their own free time to help others make money
