SMS to Email

Hi,

I'm looking for a provider of SMS to Email...

Basically I need either a long mobile number (ie the 11 digit version), or a keyword on a shared short-code number that when it is text, the SMS is sent to an email address rather than a phone.

I used to use a company for this, who did an excellent service, but they closed down a while back!

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Oh and preferably low cost!

I recommend that you check if these guys provide what you need: www dot gradwell dot com, I used their SMS API in the past and they are really good. I believe they are big players in the web SMS world.

will if you want i can look in to it, i think you can make you self by deleting the sim, and transfer a clone, to the in.sim chip in the phone, i can sent the data for you.

You've probably sort this out long ago now, but just in case you're still looking, Kapow offer special rates to board members for keywords on shortcodes and dedicated long numbers... so if you wanted eaither then we could provide them very cost effectively... just mention SBF when you call / email.

If you want to play - you can easily do this on your own.

01: Buy a GSM modem (google it).
02: Download ActiveSMS gaetway (google it).
03: Get a SIM card (pay-as-you-go will do).
04: Attach your GSM modem to a computer.
05: ActiveSMS does the rest.
